My name is Res or Rowan (they/them), and I'm a queer+trans independent digital artist and writer doing character design, character art, fanfic, and novel writing.- Other hobbies include: TTRPGs, reading, cooking/baking, knitting, video games

The most reliable way to get my attention initially will be through email, though, as I see that most frequently. I use Discord regularly, so it's the best way for me to give updates during the drawing process.The top button (white) is where you can make payments for commissions or sign up to support me monthly!

Terms of Art Commissions

I prefer to work with my clients and check in at various stages. These can include: sketch, line art, color flats, rendering/lighting, and special effects, but I will likely reach out between those checkpoints for various opinions/questions.- Before I start any serious work (more than brainstorming/sketching composition ideas), I require upfront payment.
- Prices stated in images and descriptions are in USD.
- Full refund if you cancel before I start your piece.
- If you commission character art and would like to cancel your order before in the line art or flat color stages, I can refund the difference between what you paid and what I made, including finishing the stage I'm at. (Example: You paid for a full body, full-render piece at $85. You contact me to cancel when I'm working on line art, before I've started the flat color. I will finish the line art and refund $40, the difference between the $85 you paid and $45 cost of full body line art.)
- For other pieces which do not scale like this, I will refund 50% if the piece is still in the sketch stage. I will send you a png of what I have drawn to that point. Anything beyond that will not allow for a refund, but I can still finish your piece if you wish
- A commission is for personal use only, not commercial. If you want to get a commission for commercial use, please contact me so we can discuss pricing and terms.
- Please inform me if you would not like your commission posted to social media. I will generally ask, but if I don't, please feel free to bring it up.
- If you pay for a rush order fee, please be able to respond to me ASAP for check-ins and questions if the time frame is especially short. If I do not make your rush order by the specified due date, we can discuss how much of a refund of the rush fee is fair.WILL DRAW:

- NSFW: I'm pretty open to depicting various kinks and fetishes, including but not limited to: non-monogamy, size difference, BDSM, many monsters/creatures, most sensory play. I still encourage you to reach out beforehand to discuss details you have in mind. See below for limits I know without needing to message me.WON'T DRAW:
- Anything bigoted without a subversion or point being made. Including, but not limited to: racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, physical/mental ableism, ageism, classism, discrimination of any religion or culture.
- Extreme gore/violence. Some blood is okay.
- Mecha. Pilots are fine.
- ANY vomit, gagging, and related content.
- NSFW-specific: scat/urine, depictions of under-aged individuals in explicit sexual activities, rape or sexual assault (dubcon or characters roleplaying scenarios should be discussed with me), fetishizing fatness (fat characters are welcome!)PLEASE REACH OUT WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CLARIFICATIONS OF THE ABOVE BEFORE PAYING! Terms of Monthly Support

If you support me on ko-fi with a monthly subscription, I can
I offer refunds proportional to the amount of time between when you paid and when you requested the refund, down to the week.
Days 1-7: 100% refunded
Days 8-14: 75% refunded
Days 15-21: 50% refunded
Days 22-28: 25% refunded
Days 29+: 0% refunded.Anything I draw as a reward for monthly support must adhere to the will/won't draw above.

When you commission me

Payment: I prefer payment through Ko-fi, but you can use Paypal if you prefer. Use the email linked in the appropriate Links section button above. Payment must be upfront before I start serious work.Contact method: Please make sure you provide me the best way to contact you! I am on Discord, Bluesky, Instagram, and Tumblr as well as having an email connected to my Ko-Fi and the Ko-Fi chat feature.Details from you: Please provide all reference images, descriptions, and requests for what you want to see in this commission! If there is a reference image that is CLOSE but not quite what you want, please let me know what you want to see different!Check ins: I will provide check-ins for appropriate stages of the piece, such as general composition sketch, a cleaned-up sketch, line art, color flats, rendering, and lighting. If I have additional questions, I will reach out about them too as needed.

Pricing and Options

This section is a work in progress and does not have all my available options. Character Art - Full Render: $55 to $85+

Art of your character with neat, black line art, full color, rendering from a simple light source, and posed as you'd like. Includes a simple abstract background and some minor effects.

Character Art - Flat Color: $45 to $75+

Art of your character with neat, black line art and flat colors, posed as you'd like with plain background - single color of your choice and/or transparent. This does NOT include cell shading, only the base colors of the character.

Character Art - Line Art: $30 to $45+

Neat line art of your character, posed and in an outfit of your choice! Mainly black line art plus up to two shades of grey for certain smaller details as needed; single color background (generally white for final export, but you can choose).

Full Scene Illustrations: $140+

Art of two characters in a full-background scene with neat, black line art, full color+rendering (including complex light sources), and posed as you'd like. $140 base price.- Additional characters can be added to the scene for $60 each.
- Particularly detailed backgrounds may be subject to "other complex details" fee.
- If you don't want a super-detailed background but just want to show characters interacting, contact me and we can discuss a price point!

Build Your Own Character Reference Sheet: $TBD

Original Character Designs: $60 per character

Neutral pose of a character to be designed collaboratively, done in flat colors and clean black line art. This does NOT include cell shading, only the base colors of the character. $60 per character.- A standing pose easiest for showing off the body and outfit, but for characters using mobility aids or with other circumstances for which you'd like something else, we can discuss how to pose them!
- If you purchase more than one character to be drawn, I can put them on the same canvas or different canvases.
- Additional angles of a character (left/right/back) are $35 each and must be of a character already depicted for the full price in the same outfit I drew them in. If you'd like just a single part in multiple angles (such as to show a tattoo wrapping around a limb or the back of the head for a hairstyle), contact me to discuss pricing.
- Additional outfits on an existing character figure are $35 each.
- If you would like me to line the body undersketch with details like tattoos, scars, or other marks that would ordinarily be hidden by clothes, that is an extra $20 for line art or $30 for line art and flat color.
- Upon request, I can provide exports with and without the height lines and transparent or with a single-color background. This does not cost extra, just ask me!

Other offerings

For emojis, icons, and meme redraws, price will vary depending on complexity and cost starts at about $20. Please contact me to discuss details before purchasing so we can set a price.
